Continued Monitoring and Modeling of Xingfeng Solid Waste Landfill Settlement, China, Based on Multiplatform SAR Images

Continued settlement monitoring and modeling of landfills are critical for land redevelopment safety assurance. This paper adopts a MTInSAR technique time-series the Xingfeng landfill (XFL) settlement. A major challenge is that frequent significant in initial stage after closure can affect coherence interferograms, thus hindering by MTInSAR. We analyzed factors directly temporal decorrelation adopted 3D phase unwrapping approach to correct errors caused such deformation gradient. SAR images from four platforms, including 50 Sentinel-1A, 12 Radarsat-2, 4 ALOS-2, 2 TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X images, collected measure thickness landfill. The accuracy evaluated cross-evaluation between Radarsat-2 Sentinel-1A have similar coverages. spatial characteristics relationship thickness. Further, we modeled future XFL with hyperbolic function model. results showed primarily affected considerable gradient compared decorrelation.
